I have been actively producing 'art' in many guises for several years. More recently I have been drawn to collaboration. Occaisionally I take up painting, these works seem quite unrelated to the other stuff. However the majority of images on this site are documentation of 3d work.
My sculptural work primarily
takes the form of intervention with objects, but also sometimes extends into a
temporary manipulation of site. My practice is intuitive and ideas are sparked
off from the detritus of everyday life. I am drawn to low or seemingly
insignificant materials. The appropriation of waste serves the dual function of
ecologically reincorporating the discarded back into the visible, and also as a
vehicle by which to probe anxieties prevalent in the disposable nature of
consumer life.
